The strongest Omsk citizen will make a visit to Arnold Schwarzenegger
Evgeniy Markov will lift heavy dumb-bells and logs along with other athletes from 25 countries. This week from March 6 to 8 in the city of Columbus, Ohio, USA will be Arnold sport festival - it is an international sport festival which was founded by famous actor and athlete Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Terminator will host sportsmen from 25 countries for the twenty-seventh time already. This year Omsk citizen Evgeniy Markov will represent Russia he is, by the way, the strongest men of Omsk and the whole counrty in 2014 and the prize-winner of World Cup. First all the sportsmen should go through the elimination round and after that only 10 will continue to fight for the title. So athletes will have to do different weight-lifting exercises and on the last day of the competition there will be special secret trial for finalists. Our Omsk sportsmen take part in Arnold sport festival not for the first time it's already like a tradition for them. In 2013 another Omsk sportsman Michael Shevlyakov became a winner of Arnold sport festival under the notion of Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championships.

Omsk scientists showed the warrior's armour from the Bronze Age
In international press-centre of MKR-Media was a presentation of Omsk armour which is a coat of mail made of bones from the Bronze Age and it was found in 2013. This is the only armour which was found in good conditions in warrior's lodging. So the armour was found in a historical place in Omsk where used to be many houses, tombs and workshops from a period of VI millennium B.C. to XIII century of Common Era. The archaeological work started there in 2008 under the supervision of radio manufacturing plant in the name of Popov which is also guards the place and try to attract as many tourists as possible.
