Afghanistan veterans weren’t included in socially oriented budget of Omsk oblast
The leader of social protection party Evgeniy Dolganev claimed that in the main financial instrument there is no housing subsidy for the Afghanistan veterans. Today also became known that there are no other benefits in the budget statement which used to be there. Next year rural art workers won’t get any payment for utility services’ benefits as they didn’t get it last year. This bill was introduced by Ministry of Labor and Social Development.

Hundreds of russified Germans met in Omsk
On 13 November there was an opening of the thirteenth forum dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of modern social movement of russified Germans. On this forum people discussed future development of German community in Russia and harmonization of multiculturalism.

Freight train accident
Near the Luzino station more than ten carriages of freight train came of the rails. According to preliminary data there were no victims. The press-service of West Siberian railroads specified that the accident didn’t cause any road trouble for other trains. The reasons of the accident have not been established yet.

Omsk sportsman will fight for World Swimming Championships’ medals
Nikita Konovalov joined Russian team and will take part in planetary forum which takes place in Qatar. In Qatar tournament (which will be in the capital of Qatar Doha from 3 to 7 December) will perform at 50-metre distance butterfly stroke.

Lead singer of DDT group is 30 again
Omsk citizens were delighted by the performance of the famous rock band DDT. The band decided to visit our city after two years and they performed in Angar club and the house was full. The lead singer Uriy Shevchuck acted like he is 30 and not 60. The band is touring with new programme Transparent and they started their performance with the single In the queue for the truth from their new recording.
