The summit of Eurasian Economic Union will be held in Omsk
According to yesterday’s session of Eurasian Economic Union there has been made a decision to hold the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Omsk in 2016. The Russian side suggested combining two events which are the 300th anniversary of Omsk city and the summit. The deputy prime-minister Igor Shuvalov said that next meeting of the members from Eurasian Economic Union will be in Omsk after the summit. The idea of hosting the summit in Omsk been supported by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin plus the governor of Omsk Victor Nazarov thinks that this event will help to increase economic activity and improve the relationships with members of Eurasian Economic Union. The decree about forming Eurasian Economic Union was signed on May 29th, 2014 and the members of this union are Russia, Kazakhstan, Belorussia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

Germans in Russia: who will decide their faith?
In 2016 Omsk oblast will hold the session of Intergovernment Russian-German committee this decision was made on December 17th in Berlin during the negotiation. This session will be in April and there will be discussed problems of Germans who live in Russia moreover this session coincides with the opening of Russian-German house. By the way, more than 50 thousand Germans live on the territory of Omsk oblast and 20 years ago Azovsky German national district was created which is the second biggest residence of Germans.
