Europe got interested in Omsk philharmonic orchestra 

Omsk philharmonic orchestra came back from Saint-Petersburg where they performed in Mariinsky Theatre. The audience was amazed by Omsk performance and some European publishers even got interested in this piece of work. The conductor from Saint-Petersburg Valery Gergiev invited Omsk orchestra to the North capital and Omsk orchestra performed choreographic symphony written by Mechislav Vaynberg. Up until now this symphony existed only on paper but Omsk orchestra was the first won which dared to bring it to life. The music itself was written for ballet about Japanese girl who got blind after Hiroshima bombing. The German publishing house will take this piece of work and will publish score and voices. Omsk philharmonic orchestra awoke interest of music society, critics not only Russians but also foreign ones. “I’m very proud of my orchestra, we showed a very high professional level”, says the head director of Omsk philharmonic orchestra Dmitry Vasiliev.

Omsk sportsman became best in Europe in short course 

The first day of the competition was very successful for our sportsman Nikita Konovalov he has been representing Volgogradskaya oblast for a long time and this time Nikita took part in two disciplines. The first was race of 100 meters in butterfly style and Nikita was the sixth with the result of 50,65 seconds. However this result was enough for Nikita to go further in the final which is on December 3rd. Later Nikita took part in crawl race 4x50 meters and as a result together with Evgeny Sedov, Andrey Arbuzov and Aleexander Kluklin won the highest award. Russian team covered the distance with 1.23,49 minutes on the second place is Italian team and the third one is Belorussia.
