Foreign journalists will take up Russian language courses 

On November 2nd started the lessons in Omsk Russian language school for foreign journalists from the countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The journalists came from China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. During one week our guests will learn all the difficulties in Russian language. The courses is organized by MKR-Media and specially for that the professors from Omsk State University named after F.M. Dostoevsky were invited to teach the so-called students. The foreign journalists say that the level of Russian language in their countries are slowly going down and that even such professionals as they are need constant improving of the language with which they work. But the students not only get some knowledge in Russian they will also get cultural education by visiting the most interesting places in Omsk.

Omsk short-trackers won bronze medals at first lap of World Cup

Tatiana Borodulina and Ekaterina Strelkova brought their bronze awards from Montreal which they won for a race of 3000 miters. By the way this week in Toronto is going to be the second lap of World Cup (November 6-8).

In Barnaul archeologists found the fragments of full-dress uniforms 

The group of archeologists headed by the candidate of historical sciences Vladimir Semibratov finished their archeological digs on the territory of former Nagorniy Park in Barnaul. This week in Siberia the archeologists are drawing conclusions about their archeological season. Last week near Novosibirsk was found the fish processing factory of Stone Age all that left from the enterprise are several holes 2-meter deep on the bottom of which are many bones and fish scale. Also near these holes were found special tools for cleaning fish. But that’s not all the archeologists from Altai Kray made also some successful discoveries in one of Barnaul parks they found some things which are quite valuable for science. According to Vladimir Semibratov the experts will work with found materials at least one month. By the way Omsk archeologists are also keeping up with their colleagues they managed to find the skeleton of a human with religion symbols dated back to the neolithic age.
