The fisherman saved flamingo in Altai
The bird strayed away from others and was almost at the point of death when Yuriy Pirozhenko found it. The bird was found at the Khohly lake in Novichihinskiy district. According to the fisherman the bird was in very bad conditions it barely could stand and its nib was frozen so Yuriy took young bird to his home and took care of it. “I searched the Internet and found that flamingo eats fish and crayfish I had some fish in my fridge so I cut it into pieces and fed the bird the next day it ate without my help. I switched the voices of birds and flamingoes and the bird reacted. It slept in a big bowl with water standing on one leg and hiding its head under one wing”, says the fisherman. When the bird felt much better Yuriy called to Barnaulsk zoo and told about the bird so yesterday the bird was taken to the zoo and now it is kept in warm room in spring the workers will make special cage for the bird.

The alternative fertilizer
The specialists from Krasnoyarsk University have created a system which allows to convert human excrement into fertilizer. In the last blockbuster of Ridley Scott The Martian the main hero managed to grow potato thanks to human excrements. Something similar did the specialists from Krasnoyarsk Biophysics University they invented automatic installation with six-liter reactor this installation is able to recycle excrements of 24 people into fertilizer in one day. Of course the received fertilizer went through some testing process it was used to grow reddish and as it turned out the vegetables were perfectly fine and didn’t differ from other of its type. According to the scientists the reddish also had a good taste.
