Last six seasons Alexander Kaun from Tomsk basketball club has played for Moscow CSKA and during this time Alexander became five-time Russian champion and the winner of United League. The information that Alexander Kaun will move to US was posted by official website Cavaliers. Tomsk basketball player signed an agreement with Cleveland Cavaliers for two years and in the first season the player will get a salary in amount of 1,2 million dollars. Apart from that Alexander will have an opportunity to play in one team with LeBron James the most famous basketball player of 21st century. Together with Alexander Kaun will play another Russian player Timofey Mozgov last championship the center became the first representative of our country who managed to play in NBA finals. The coach of Cavaliers is ex-coach of national Russian team David Blatt.

Spice-cake monument
The author of the idea to set a spice-cake monument in Gurievsk was the resident of the city Natalia Galkina. The monument was set not far from the central square Yubileynaya and represents the famous Gurievsk spice-cake tall as a man which stands near the table got ready for tea party. The money was given by Gurievsk food factory and art work was done by trading-industrial company Siberian smithy. As soon as the monument was installed Gurievsk citizens made their own proverbial sign it is said that everybody who sits at the tea party table will have a prosperous year.
