Kolchak’s gold has been lost again
Irkutsk archeologists who according to local journalists have made a sensational discovery didn’t even imagine that they could have made it. The website of Altai newspaper Listok was the first one which announced this information it is said that in Chemalskiy districts archeologists found wagon train of White Guards general Bakich which could transfer the lost gold of Admiral Kolchak. The workers from Irkutsk archeological laboratory SO RAN were the one who discovered the gold. As it turned out nobody knew about this discovery not the government of Altai Kray not the archeologists themselves. “We don’t have expeditions in Altai Kray and we also don’t have any information about the location of the gold probably it was some kind of rumor from your journalists”, say the archeologists from Irkutsk archeological laboratory.

Extinct animals will be cloned
The scientists will start their work from close studying of mammoth remains. If the scientists find living cells with DNA than they will easily recreate the extinct animals and not only mammoths. “Mammoths’ bodies preserve better in ice like the one we found in Maly Lyakhovsky Island. When we saw the body for the first time we couldn’t believe how good it was preserved when we broke the ice there was red liquid which turned out to be blood”, says Semen Grigoriev the head of Mammoth museum in Yakutsk. By the way the animal’s body was found in summer 2012 but the scientists managed to extract the body from ice only next year.
