Tomsk divers have discovered ancient settlement 

The settlement was found on the bottom of Issyk Kul Lake there for a few years has been held International historic archeological expedition. So during this archeological expedition the divers from Tomsk University have discovered unknown settlement on the bottom of the lake according to preliminary data this settlement’s age is about 2500 years and it is from sakskiy period. According to Dminry Gorn the head of divers’ club the most interesting finding is the fragment of ceramic pot which has seals of its manufacturer. The head of expedition Vasily Ploskih said that these seals probably have Armenian-Syrian inscriptions which can be the proves that during the Middle Ages on the territory of Issyk Kul was Armenian monastery where was kept the relict of the Apostle Matthew. The discovery of Atlantis will give an opportunity to the scientists switch from archeological digs to closer studying of the objects which gives further base for scientific work.

Omsk fire-observation tower celebrates its 100 anniversary

On 28th of August Omsk fire-observation tower celebrates its 100 anniversary before brick-built tower there was another one but wooden which worked up until 1870 but then Omsk had a few fires and in 1910 Omsk Administration decided to build new one. The designer of brick-built tower was Iliodor Khvorinov who designed many other famous buildings in Omsk like Drama Theatre, hotel Russia and many others. The tower was built quite fast it took only one year and four months and on 28th of August 1915 was signed a decree which stated that the fire-observation tower was the highest building in Omsk. Special watchman and his assistant always were on duty and when they saw fire somewhere they screamed “Fire!” however the tower was also used for another purposes for example on January 9 1912 there was hung a flag which informed all student that the lessons were canceled because of a very cold weather. The tower was used up until the 40’s of XX century and later one it was on the edge of destruction but on June 26th 1980 it was registered as architectural monument of local importance. In 2002 on the sky deck was put an artificial watchman who is on duty days and nights now the tower is used like a center fire propaganda and also it is a museum of Omsk fire security.

Krasnoyarsk citizen invented high-speed mountainboard

A 28-year old Anton Fokin has invented high-speed mountainboard which can pick up speed 100 kilometers per hour. It took one year to create such device and Anton bought most of the details abroad. The board itself was sent from Germany and the engine from China. A usual mountainboard is a board to ride from mountains and it has special parachute which creates traction the new mountainboard has its own electric traction. By the way Anton Fokin created this board not just for fun he uses it to get to work but he is very careful baceuse he doesn’t want to hurt another people and damage the mountainboard. Anton is also planning to create special skateboard like in the movie Back to the Future such samples have already been invented but you can ride them only within the special magnetic tracks.
