Artificial brain will help to fight against Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases
The new innovation of specialists from Tomsk State University will help to move further in studying and treatment those diseases which connected with failures of human neural circuitry. The artificial brain (Siberian scientists created it with the help of their colleagues from Germany, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belorussia and Kazakhstan) can handle video and sounds plus it has a function of self-education. For example, this device reacts on exogenous irritants like bright light and finds the way to get rid of it for example by moving or turning away. Through trial and error the owner of the device finds right decision and remembers it effectively collecting experience base. “Yet there are a lot of things to do but we have already made an important step which allows us to reveal the mystery of brain neural circuitry. Inside of our new device happens the same process as in human brain like formation of neural connections and its disintegration”, says the head developer from Tomsk State University Vladimir Shumilov. The work of Siberian scientists and their colleagues will be implemented in medicine and will help to fight against amnesia, Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases. According to the professor Vladimir Syramkin these diseases occur when neural connections disintegrate or there are some problems inside their connection. Doctors can use this device in order to simulate pathosis and on the basis of results choose the right and appropriate treatment.
