Conquering volcanoes
The girls from Siberian amazons team conquered the 3 kilometer volcano Tolbachik in Kamchatka Kray. The team set off on a journey in July and their route goes through Tolbachikskiy massif and the second highest pick there is Tolbachik volcano 3085 meters. This volcano is still active and last eruption was in 2012-2013 today the girls managed to conquer it. Anna Statva who is the trainer of the team told that the journey is still on and the team will climb some other pick whereupon they will climb the highest volcano in Kamchatka Klyuchevskaya Sopka. The Siberian amazons team was founded in 2008 and its participants mostly do trekking and mountain hiking. The girls have already conquered the Sayan Mountains, the Urals and also the highest mountain in Europe Elbrus.

Siberian region will witness the Perseids
On Thursday night the meteor shower Perseids will reach its pinnacle which can already be seen since the second half of July. According to International Meteor Organization on 13th of August the Perseids will develop the speed of 59 kilometers per hour and there will be 100 meteors per hour. The best place to see the meteor shower is Siberia if to be exact Kemerovskaya, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk oblast and Krasnoyarskiy Kray and to see it more clearly it is better to go outside the city. The Perseids can be seen every year in the second half of summer and each hour 50 meteor particles will fly in the sky these particles are like grains and by getting into earth atmosphere they burn and that’s how the meteor shower appears.
