Omsk constructions are nominees of British award
Zoologists vs. lions
This Saturday on 1st of August the citizens of Krasnoyarsk can witness a very unusual and dangerous event the workers from Krasnoyarsk zoo called Roev Stream will try strength against lions. Within the limits of the programme Summer evenings the workers will “play” with dangerous predators by tugging-of-war. Zoologists will put rope through the cage and after will try to take away the rope from lions somehow it will remind of the game with home cat.

Omsk constructions are nominees of British award
The designers of constructions which were built last year at one of Omsk streets can become winners of Structural Awards 2015 as an offbeat project. The short list of participants was made by International Institute of design engineers in UK. There are four nominees in Small project nomination Cyprus, Omsk, England and South Africa. The British paid attention to eleven glass construction at Omsk street according to the designers’ idea this glass crystals were put there by kind magician. The jury of award said that Omsk project is very elegant, full of ambitions and creativity. The winners will be announced on November 13. Structural Award was founded in 1968 last year one of the winners was the airport Pulkovo in Saint-Petersburg and in 2013 the winners were designers of staircase of Mariinsky Theatre. The Siberian projects have never been the winners before.
