Omsk boxer became a new Bellator champion in welterweight
Andrey Koreshkov in the title bout with Brazilian boxer Douglas Lima was much stronger than his opponent. The fight lasted all five verses and during all fight Andrey Koreshkov had a bulge on Douglas Lima who is by the way current owner of champion belt but no one was about to give up. In the end the judges unanimously pronounced Andrey Koreshkov the winner of the fight. This title Andrey got for the first time earlier in 2013 he tried to win the title but unfortunately back than he lost to his opponent Ben Askren.

Omsk Paralympian became twice prizewinner of the world swimming Championship
At the competition in Glasgow, Scotland, Aleksander Makarov won two medals – silver and gold ones. Aleksander managed to win two medals right at the first day of the competition the mentee of Olesya Aleksandrova in a distance of 200 meters yielded to Ukrainian sportsman and took second place. Last Saturday, July 18, Aleksander Makarov added one more medal to his collection the distance of 50 meters Siberian sportsman covered with the time of 51.74 seconds and took third place. And again the sportsman from Ukraine won gold medal and silver one went to Italian sportsman. Therefore by winning two medals Omsk sportsman helped our Russian national team to set a new record for the first time Russian national Paralympian team got to the first place of unofficial team scoring. Our swimmers won 71 medals (31 gold, 19 silver and 20 bronze) with this result they outran Ukraine and USA.

Novosibirsk scientists have discovered new fundamental particle
The physicists from Novosibirsk State University who are working together with their foreign colleagues at hadron collider in Switzerland have discovered a pentaquark which is a hypothetical subatomic particle consisting of four quarks and one antiquark bound together. “The big part of universe consists of mesons and baryons but a few decades ago scientists thought about another intermediate particle”, says one of the scientists from China Shuhao Yuan. The scientists have been working for a long time to find this pentaquark and finally they managed. By looking closer to the particle scientists will be able to narrow down many existing abstract models.
