The artists will paint over one thousand square meters of different buildings. The masters will come from Germany, India, Kazakhstan and Russia and will show their talents within the framework of the project called The week of street art. It is known that the artists will paint about 17 pieces of street art for example on one of the buildings the artists will paint a portrait of famous writer Vladimir Mayakovskiy who during his career devoted one poem to Novokuznetsk. The artists have a lot of ideas also they want to make a 25-meter long skateboard and many other interesting things. “We made up this festival in order to make the city streets of Novokuznetsk more colorful and attract not only citizens but also tourists”, says one of the organizers Ivan Tamatov.

Omsk disabled sportsman won silver medal at World Championship in Scotland
The competition in Glasgow is still on and our sportsman has all chances to add some more awards. Aleksandr Makarov won his first medal at the first day of competition on July 13 he performed on 200-meter distance in class S3. Aleksandr Makarov reached the finish line with the time result of 3:35,19 minutes. Today, on July 16, Aleksandr performs on another distance of 50 meters. The World Championship IPC in swimming for disabled people got together over 580 sportsmen from 70 different countries. And the results of Scotland sport forum will be counted while forming the Russian national Paralympian team.

Watermelon snow
A very unusual snow covered the mountains in natural preserve of Khakassiya the scientists say that this type of precipitation is not dangerous for people. The red snow was found at the high of 1700 meters near the mountain ridge Shaman. The red color snow got from unicellular algae which haven’t been studied fully by scientists yet. This alga can live in low temperature and has special pigment thanks to which it has red color. Snow and ice algae are very interesting group of organisms because they can grow very fast under the temperature of zero degrees and also are able to survive during frosts. If they grow together they can evoke different colors of snow like green, yellow, blue, red, brown and even black. The red snow also has a watermelon taste and this is thanks to the algae the specialists say that the snow is not dangerous for people and they can even taste it but not too much.
