Two ostriches got to Omsk prison camp

The first feathery residents of prison camp have already arrived to the place of their destination. The direction of the penal colony No. 6 decided to purchase two baby birds of black African ostrich. And according to the regional UFSIN this two birds were very well received by the prisoners. So birds are kept in good conditions not only the prisoners are taking care of them but also the veterinary. There were a few aims when the direction bought the birds first is that the prisoners will have their own "home pet" and that means they will have a connection with representatives of avifauna. Second, this birds lay the biggest eggs (which weigh from one to two kilos) and plus they have more amino acids, lysine and threonine than chicken eggs and also they have low cholesterol

The swimmer from Krasnoyarsk won three medals in one day Arina Openysheva has won two gold and one silver medals at First European Games. The 16-year old girl won her first gold medal in free style on a distance of 400 meters and within an hour she managed to win the second medal also in free style but already on a distance of 100 meters. This time Arina gave the first place to a swimmer from Holland and the bronze medal went to our Russian swimmer Maria Kameneva. The day finished with another victory of our swimmers they took the gold medal in mixed crawl relay with the time of 3.30,30 outran British and German swimmers. But that wasn't the end for our young swimmer Arina Openysheva she still has to take part in some other competitions on First European Games.
