Omsk Paralympian sportsman is the best among runners
Aleksander Rabotnizky won two gold medals on Worldwide Athlete Grand-Prix which took place on June 12 to June 14 Grosseto, Italy. Aleksander had two distances one was 800 meters and the other 1500 meters so he managed to run both distances with a record-breaking time. The first distance he covered in 1:55.69 minutes and outran the sportsmen from Ukraine and Russia as for the second distance here Aleksander managed to score the time of 4:00.93 minutes and left behind the sportsmen from UK and Ukraine. In March 2015 Aleksander won three gold medals on Seventh Open Championship of Europe also as a part of national Russian team he won the relay race. We are very proud of our sportsman because he managed to settle a new record in running.

The science week in Omsk
Soon in Omsk will be launched a Week of Science project the main themes of which will be robotics and space exploration. Today in press-center of MRK-Media was the opening of Week of Science within the framework of the project will be three events which people will be able to visit for free. On Tuesday, June 23, the organizers invite small children of age 6 to make their own robots. “We make our robots from famous erector set LEGO but the main secret is that they can move. By making robots children get some knowledge from mathematics, physics and programming plus they can develop leadership and creative qualities”, says the head of the children center Step forward Maksim Holomeev. On Thursday, June 25, the Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences from Omsk State Polytechnic University Vladimir Dmitriev will unravel the secrets of space for all comers. On Saturday, June 27, will be the presentation of a new satellite called Mayak and as the specialists say it will be the second brightest object in the sky after the moon. The presentation itself will be held in Moscow but Omsk citizens will be able to see it thanks to space bridge. The organizers are planning to make such events during the whole summer because young generation is very interested in that area.
