The company from Sevastopol will congratulate Omsk citizens on 70th anniversary of Great victory
As you all know this year Russia will celebrate the 70th anniversary of Great victory and therefore 149 different social events are planned in Omsk. The main place of celebration will be the park named after 30 years of Victory where organizers will put a stage right at the central entrance of the park so different Omsk dance companies and other artists will perform there. Vladimir Shalak the head of culture department of Omsk administration told that the vocal group from Sevastopol will come to congratulate Omsk citizens also there will be a performance of ballet called Karbyshev directed by Omsk musical theatre.

Moscow will share its eternal flame with Omsk
Omsk delegation will go to Moscow where in Aleksandrovskiy garden they receive a symbol of memory - eternal flame. Before the 70th anniversary of Great Victory there will be a new memorial in Omsk another eternal flame. At the moment the final preparations are in progress the official opening will be on May 8 in Park Pobedy. Specially for that event Omsk delegation will bring a small part of Moscow eternal fire from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin.

Omsk sportsman won the European youth Championships in fencing
Alexander Trushakov as a part of Russian quartet won gold medal in team events. The championship took place in Italy and the host nation won some medals in a few disciplines however in team events Italians couldn’t help but lost to our sportsmen. The title of the best fencers went to Vyacheslav Iskandarov, Andrey Korobko, Rostislav Krasilnikov and Omsk sportsman Alexander Trushakov they were stronger than their opponents from Italy, Belorussia and Romania. And in March the mentee of Alexander Kiselev became a silver prize-winner at Russian youth championship in fencing.
