Fish aren’t immortal, it also can die

Hundreds of crucian carps were drifted ashore in Omsk reserve. The ecologist say that it happened because it wasn’t enough space for fish but the administration of the reserve doesn’t think that something terrible has happened. A few days ago the water reservoir was covered with dead fish and this incident scared many of Omsk citizens and it’s very interesting because right before that the governor and other officials came to the reserve in order to check it and clean. The workers of the reserve are very irritated by journalists’ questions when they wanted to know what actually has happened to the fish and answer only that probably fish were old and just die because of it. The deputy director of the reserve Aleksandr Ovcharenko told that since winter there have been done some works which provide the water reservoir with necessary amount of oxygen and there always has been enough food for fish. The ecologist Boris Kassal thinks that the fish died because of overcrowding, shortage of oxygen by virtue of algae decomposition and also because there were several types of fish in the water reservoir. Two years ago the same incident happen in the reserve and back then the regional Ministry of nature stated that it happened because of sewage breakout and that everything went to the water reservoir.
