Two hockey players from Omsk team will take part in Junior World Championship
The day before the head coach of national team (U18) Yuri Rumyantsev named the players who will go to the planetary forum in Switzerland. In the final list there are 23 hockey players (3 goalkeepers, 7 full-backs and 13 forwards). Dmitry Zhukenov and Dmitry Sokolov will represent Omsk in the national team both of them have good reputation and are the leaders of national team. Dmitry Zhukenov has already played 42 matches where he gained 40 points (12+28) and Dmitry Sokolov has played 16 matches and ended up with 21 points (16+5). So the Junior planetary forum will be from April 16 up to April 27 in Switzerland and our team will play against Germany (April 17), Slovakia (April 19) and Sweden (April 21).

Tatiyana Borodulina is among those sportsmen who might be in national team for special trainings. There are 30 people in the list where 18 are men and 12 are women the head of the national team will be the Olympic champion Victor An. On April 20 all sportsmen will have their first training and the next day there will be full medical examination of sportsmen and after that the coaches will publish the final list of those who will take part in special trainings. On April 25 there will be first meeting of short-track sportsmen in Sochi. Two other Omsk sportswomen Ekaterina Strelkova and Ekaterina Baranok are on this list.
