Omsk sportman became the second on ultramarathon in Cape Town
Nina Podnebesnova has won a second medal at the competition Two Oceans. The longest marathon in 56 kilometers long took place in Cape Town for the 46th time. The last marathon was a very successful for our Omsk sportsman because Nina Podnebesnova was the first among women who cross the finish line. According to specialists Nina had all chances to repeat her last year success. The most part of the track Omsk sportsman was the leader and it is about 50 kilometers but she was outrun by South African sportsman Caroline Wastman and Nina Podnebesnova in the end won the silver medal and the third place went also to South African sportsman Tanita Maxwell.

Omsk volleyball player got a gold medal on European championship 2015
Kseniya Pligunova helped our Russian national team became one of the best. At this stage of the championship our volleyball team is on the second place the girls managed to win over Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Greece but however lost to Serbian sportsmen. In semi-final out team played against Turkish team where our girls lost only one set. After that our sportsmen played against Serbian team and during tie-break manage to gain a victory. In that way our team became the best team of European championship 2015 in the history of Russian volleybal it is the second time while the first one was in 1997. Kseniya Pligunova in the national team managed to win the women championship of The Eastern European volleyball zonal Association which took place in December 2014 in Latvia.
