Omsk citizens will be given a million of chickens

The growing and breeding process will be taken up by socially unprotected families. So there is a special project which will help socially unprotected families who are ready to grow and breed chickens. The district administrations have already prepared the lists of families who are willing to do this and who need social support. The first shipment consists of 43 thousand chickens and they all have found their homes. All these chickens were transfered to six metropolitan regions of Omsk oblast. In all the organizers with the help of Azovskaya battery farm are planning to give out a million of chickens.

One of the biggest international hotel chain got interested in Omsk

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is a big international hotel chain and its hotels placed more than in 100 countries and now they are planning to develop the business in Siberia. Among the priority regions is Omsk oblast. The director of business development from Carlson Rezidor Darren Blanchard said that Omsk is a perspective city to open the international hotels in. In 2015 Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group will build a three-star hotel called Park Inn by Radisson in Novosibirsk.

Specialists from France, Moscow and St.-Petersburg will work on Lybenskiy avenue project

To work on Lybenskiy avenue project will be the whole team of specialists and some of them are forigners. The designer from France Eduard Moro he designed the coastal area of Moscow river and the historical centre of Kaliningrad. Other specialists are Elena Chernova and the architector Arseniy Brodach from St.-Petersburg. The coordinator of the project is the urbanist and economist from Moscow Evgeniy Melnik. The results of the specialists' work and the final project will be presented for public discussion in May.

Omsk athlete is planning to run ultramarathon

Nina Podnebesnaya last year became a champion on last competition Two Oceans which took place in Cape Town. The Siberiam sportsman ran 56-kilometer distance in 3,40.07 hours and she only managed to catch up with the leader of the competition Shitaye Gemechu from Ethiopia when it was 5 kilometers left before finish. Now Omsk athlete will try to conquer the ultramarathon one more time and as for sisters Olesiya and Elena Nurgalievy who won seven gold medals last year unfortunately won't take part this year. According to experts the main opponents for Omsk athlete will be Shitaye Gemechu from Ethiopia, Cheri Bosman and Tanith Maxwell from South America. Its name the ultramarathon got because of the distance which goes along the Indian ocean and Atlantic ocean. By the way this year because of the big fires the organizers of the competition had to change the track a little bit.
