Omsk is about to be in emergency situation regime
Omsk governor and mayor soon will receive a form of address about necessity to establish the emergency situation regime in Omsk and it is been done because of a lack of licensed SDW landfills. There are three landfills of solid domestic waste in Omsk in Leninskiy, Kirovskiy disrtict and in Nadezhdino village. After some changes in national law firts two landfills were deprived of the licence so now it is legal to bring waste only to landfill which is in Nadezhdino village but it is not enough. And plus the situation may be even worse because soon will start cleaning process of Omsk and there is a possibility that all waste which will be collected won't reach its destination in Nadezhdino village. The new landfill will be built near Bogoslovka village where the investor SibEkoProm company bought 43 hectares of land and it will be more modern with waste sorting station. Approximate investment to the project is 2 billion rubles but permission for building will be granted only next winter and building process of the landfill will take about two years. So during this period Omsk officials propose to renew the licence of two closed landfills but it will be possible only if an emergency situation regime is announced. If such situation happens than the rate for waste disposal will inevitably go up.
