Nine of Avangard players will continue the season but in national teams
Although the season for Omsk hockey team has come to an end some of the players will continue the season. The forwards Aleksander Popov, Sergey Shirokov and the goalkeeper Konstantin Barulin will play in national team from April 5 to 10 they will play in germany and Switzerland, on April 16 and 18 in Finland and April 24-25 in Moscow. Ilya Dervock from Omsk junior hockey team is getting ready for the tournament of Four Nations which takes place in the Slovak Republic. Also two forwards from junior team Dmitriy Zhukenov and Dmitriy Sokolov will play in national junior team they have already started their trainings and will play two matches in Germany from March 31 to April 11. After that the coaching staff will decide who will be in the team which will go to World Championship in Switzerland from April 11 to 27. The Czech Avangard players Miroslav Blaťák and Vladimír Sobotka in the national team will get ready for World Championship and Belarusian coaches count on forward Artem Volkov.

Omsk minibus driver got famous all over the world
The man from San Francisco transfered 100 dollars to the most famous Omsk minibus driver Artem Belozerov. He got famous because he takes no money from his passangers and instead they need to add him on the social network Vkontakte. The man from San Francisco explained that he also wanted to do a good thing for somebody. The received money Artem spent on his minibus because it needed a repair. Omsk citizens for the first time found out about this minibus driver in 2013 because some local newspapers wrote an article about him. Afterwards Artem got a job in one of Omsk model agencies and he also said that he wants to be a candidate for Omsk mayor.
