Omsk volleyball team Omichka won over Turkish Galatasaray
Omsk volleyball team won over Turkish Galatasaray with by a score of 3:0 in first match of challenge-roud of CEV Cup. But Turkish team was fighting to the last and made Omsk team to nervous a little they were hard on heels. However the coach of Omsk team Zoran Terzich did his best to cheer the gurls up and were giving out the direct instructiond during the time-outs. The return meet will be on March 10 in Turkey.

Omsk citizens will first see the kokeshi dolls
Today in Omsk puppet theatre Arlekin will be an openning of an exhibition called The world of Japanese dolls kokeshi. So Omsk citizens will be the first one in Russia who will see this exhibition and after Omsk there will be other cities of Siberia, Ural and Povolzhye. On this exhibition visitors will be able to see traditional and authorial kokeshi dolls. During the Edo period craftsmen were the first who started to make such dolls and they also made different bowls, trays and other utensils. The visitors of local hot wells used to buy this dolls for their children but the dolls became very famous in the second half of the XX century as a souvenirs.
