Omsk sportswoman has won another gold medal in World Student Games of 2015

Omsk skier Oksana Usatova won the race for 5 kilometers in classic style. Oksana finished in first place with the time of 13.09,5 minutes. In this race Oksana managed to outrun two sportswoman from Kazakhstan Anastasiya Slonova and compatriot Liliya Vasilyeva. By winning on this World Student Games which by the way was held in Štrbské pleso, the Slovak Republic Oksana Usatova added to her collection of medals one more. Last year Oksana became a champion twice and again it was on World Student Games. Talking about medals it's already the fifth gold medal in Russian national team our sportsmen are still leaders of this games.

In Omsk oblast an electric locomotive and 20 freight cars went off the rails

The accident happened this night at 23:50 on Lubinskaya railroad station but luckily there were no victims. The press-service of local Ministry of Emergency Measures stated that the reason of this accident was that two wheelsets of electric locomotive went off the rails. This night accident affected the schedule of passenger trains among them are passenger train no. 64 Minsk - Novosibirsk, no. 100 Moscow - Vladivostok, no. 82 Moscow - Ulan-Ude and no. 92 Moscow - Severobaykalsk. Train service was restored by 9 a.m. and 225 people and 30 units of equipment have been working on that accident.

Omsk citizens have more bath-houses and saunas than Moscow citizens

At the height of frosty siberian winter Yandex workers decided to find out which cities with over a million dwellers have more bath-houses and saunas. According to the results Omsk together with Ekaterinburg became leaders with the highest number of bath-houses and saunas. For each 100,000 citizens there are 18 places where one can take a steam bath. Krasnoyarks is on the third place with 17 places for 100,000 citizens. Strangely enough Moscow and St.-Petersburg are on the last positions of this list with only six and eight bath-houses for 100,000 citizens but the outsider of this list is Volgograd with five bath-houses and saunas.
