Omsk sportswoman became a short-track champion
The sportswoman from Omsk Ekaterina Strelkova has won the first gold medal in her career and she did it on European championship which was held in Dutch city Dordrecht. The last day of the championship was very important not only for our Omsk sportswoman but also for other sportsmen from Russian national team because they all took part in relay race for 3000 meters. So apart from Ekaterina Strelkova in Russian national team were the following sportsmen Emina Malagich, Sofiya Prosvirnova and Ekaterina Konstantinova. This relay race was very successful for our sportsmen because they came first and of course won the gold medal. The silver medal went to Dutch sportsmen and the bronze went to Hungarian sportsmen. As it was already mentioned Ekaterina Strelkova has never won the gold medal before and her previous best results were the bronze medal on a world championship of 2012 and 2013 in relay race. Next month Omsk sportswoman will participate in junior world championship and again it will be short-track. The championship will be held in Osaka, Japan from February 27 to March 1.

The school of A. Shlemenko will be opened in Omsk by spring
In March Omsk teenagers will be able to take lessons from famous boxer Aleksandr Storm Shlemenko. The school of Aleksandr Shlemenko who is three times world champion in mixed fights will be opened on the basis of Omsk school of combat sport in Vavilova Street, 45. Almost everything has been done in new school and it’s almost ready to welcome its students who will be able to enroll in the school since February. According to the information from Omsk channel Prodvizhenie sportsmen with different levels and ages can train in the school. But most of all Aleksandr Shlemenko wants to work with little children aged from 6 to 7 and according to Aleksandr they managed to make the training process under the world standards and plus the fame of the Omsk boxer will help to draw more students.
