Two Omsk sportswomen will take part in World winter Universiade

Ekaterina Baranok and Oksana Usatova will be in Russian national team. The competition will take place in two countries the first part from January 24 to February 2 in the Slovak Republic and from February 4 to February 14 in Spain. There will be about 200 sportsmen from Russia and among them will be two from Omsk Ekaterina Baranok is a short tracker and her best result was in 2012 when she took part in world championship and won a bronze medal she also went to Olympic games in Sochi but only like a standby sportsman and for Ekaterina it will be the first time in World winter Universiade. But as for Oksana Usatova it won't be her first time in such competiton last year she became a champion twice in World winter Universiade. Last time the Universiade was from December 11 to December 21 2013 in Italy. And according to the previous results Russia took the first place and won 15 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 19 bronze medals.

Omsk citizens consume more milk than any other Siberians

Last year according to some statistics data each citizen of our region consumed 306 kilogrammes of milk and other dairy products and it is a record result in Siberia. Thereby according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture last year the milk output increased by 2% and was 706 tons. In 2014 224 hundred thousand tons of milk was subsidized and now the regional Ministry of Agriculture is making plans about further support of milkmen in order to increase the output of dairy products.
