According to statistics men with the name Ivan tend to get married more often than others. Today on January 19 the head of Omsk registry office Olga Parfenova shared some results of 2014 and statistics which showed that it really is a true that men with the name Ivan get merried more often. So if a girl met a guy with name Ivan so she is probably very lucky and Olga Perfenova pointed out that men with such name are ready to get married and she told the story about one man from Omsk whose name is Ivan got married six times and three times he married the same woman.

Omsk citizens will celebrate the International day of hugs
This event will help to form a good mood and temper towards other people. On Wednesday, January 21 at 3 o'clock on Teatralinaya Square the celebration of International day of hugs will take place and many students from universities and colleges will participate in it. On this day everybody will be able to give free hugs even to people they don't know just to cheer them up. The main aim of the even is to popularize the tolerant attitude towards other people. And the International day of hugs will be held in within the framework of the act called 300 good deeds devoted to 300th anniversary of Omsk. And to point out the first day of free hugs were established in 1986 in USA and after spreaded all over the world.

Omsk citizens can check their knowledges in geography
At the beggining of February in Omsk will be held educational event and during this event Omsk citizens will be able to check their knowledges in geography. Every person can take part in this event who is more than 12 years old. This event is organised by the the leisure club Uvlechen and I together with Omsk State Pedagogical University with the help of Omsk department of Russian geographical societ. The test will be on February 1 and after all the results will be sent be email to each participant. So the organizers of the event told that mersk here are'nt very important but what is more important that they want awake people's interest to geography. Last year the President of Russia Vladimir Putin proposed to implement All-Russian geography test.
