Omsk students took a dare
Two students from Omsk State Technical University and Siberian Automobile and Highway Academy reached the final of students’ competition IT-Planet. Their projects of mobile applications for Android were presented in Google head office. In this competition which took place in Moscow students were contesting with each other and tried to create the best mobile application Russia Android Challenge. Among forty finalists there were two students from Omsk Juriy Ufimzev and Viktor Pasenchuk. Some prospective investors were members of the jury and they told that the projects of Omsk students are quite promising.

The Head of Ministry of Agriculture went back to his childhood
Today on November 28 in Omsk region new dairy factory was opened which belongs to the MilkOm Company. The Head of Ministry of Agriculture Nikolay Fedorov and Omsk governor Viktor Nazarov gave an opening speech at this event. Federal Minister told that the opening of new dairy factory is not very big deal because it’s not like some new hydropower station was launched or armor factory but in connection with the latest political events functioning of new dairy factory is very important. Right after the big opening Nikolay Fedorov tried some milk and said that new product reminds him of his childhood because exactly the same milk he used to drink when he was a little boy. In conclusion Nikolay Fedorov announced that his Ministry got several billion rubles from federal budget for financing capital investment projects in agriculture sphere. Omsk oblast will get some money in amount of 165 million rubles.
