The annex to the landmark on Libknehta Street will be pulled down in a month. Joint owner Zavgorodnaya reconstructed the basement of landmark building which is used to be the maternity hospital No. 1 in Karla Libknehta Street. This situation provoked public resonance and the Ministry of Culture of Omsk oblast stated that no one gave the permission to make such work. Office of Public Prosecutor made an investigation and claimed that the reconstruction was illegal. The owner of the landmark need to pull down the annex by December 22, 2014.

Omsk architect is about to be charged
The city Prosecutor's office found some violations in one of City Hall departments. So the Prosecutor’s office is going to open a criminal investigation of exceeding official powers related to workers from Architecture Department. Penal action is also going to be against the head of the Architecture Department Anatoliy Til.

Omsk citizens broke the record and made the biggest mass selfie
During the shooting of new film Elki which also took place in Omsk it was recorded that Omsk citizens made the biggest mass selfie. This event will be in record book of Russia. The shooting took place at the Organ Hall of Omsk philharmonic at the begging of November and over 400 citizens participated in it. All the scenes will be shown in the titles and the movie will be released on December 25.

All the illegal construction will be pull down in Lenina Street
The investor promised to reconstruct one of the main streets in Omsk by the 300 anniversary of the city. As it was found out by the news agency OmskZdes according to construction project all the illegal constructions will be pull down. So the representative of the company said that the question of illegal constructions will be solved soon.

Omsk gave a warm reception to famous singer Natalia Oreiro
The Uruguayan singer visited our city today and she came by the morning train. She came to Omsk from Novosibirsk where the temperature was 86 °F but Natalia was pleased when she found out that in Omsk it’s only 42.8 °F. Omsk is the fifth city where Natalia Oreiro will perform with her new program. The performance will be in Omsk circus.
