First ice crossings will be opened by December 15
Ministry of Emergency Situations of Omsk oblast stated that first ice crossings will be opened by December 15 in Znamenskiy district (Znamenka - Kachukovo, Ust-Shish - Tuzakly) and will work until April 2, 2015. In Ust-Ishim district (Nikolsk - Ust-Ishim, Aksenovo - Yarkovo) ice crossings will be opened by December 25 until April 5. From December 29 ice crossings in Cherlack, Bolsherechie and Tevrizskiy districts will be opened and they will work until April 4. There will be engineering certification before all these ice crossings will be opened. The owner of ice crossing first needs to make all the necessary security requirements and only after that the ice crossings will be put in use.

The damp near Omsk airport is a serious danger
Omsk transport prosecutor's office found illegal damp of food scraps and hard domestic waste on the territory of Omsk airport. The damp is located near the south border of the airport 500-800 meters apart. This illegal damp located very close to the airport and is a serious danger for air traffic because it attracts a lot of birds and plus this damp is the reason for bird hazard. Based on the inspection results the reference to the court was sent asking to oblige Omsk and Kirovskiy district administration to liquidate the damp by January 1, 2015.

City officials keep saying that Omsk is a green city
Omsk city hall created a new position of head agriculturist. This position was taken by Galina Tsyganova who previously worked as an agriculturist in road service landscaping. The specialists are already making some changes; they replacing old trees with new ones. As Galina Tsyganova said winter is the best time for such type of work. Trees are resting and during the transplanting they will be damaged less. And than in spring it will be easier for them to adapt at new place. This type of technology is very effective.

Smuggling is continuing
According to FSB in Omsk oblast there were many attempts to smuggle different goods from Kazakhstan. In October there were only 11 attempts but in the first half of November there already were 15 attempts. As the Ministry press-service stated that in 10 of these incidents the drivers didn’t have the necessary veterinary documents and in 5 incidents the goods which were transported were under sanctions. In all the frontier guards together with The Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service detained 147,7 tons of fruit and vegetables, 43,6 tons of fish and 20 tons of meat.

The price surge for buckwheat was false
The Minister of Agriculture Vitaly Ehrlich stated that the price surge was falsely created and those who did this will be found. Ehrlich said that in 2014 the country produced 700 thousand tons of buckwheat while people consumed only 550 thousand tons. Omsk antimonopoly service will detect those who are guilty.

Omsk will be a part of Natalia Oreiro documentary movie
This film will be dedicated to concert tour of famous singer which will be from November to December and Natalia will visit 15 cities. The director of the film is Uruguayan Martín Sastre who directed such serials as Rich and Famous, Wild doll and Miss Tacuarembó. In each city where famous singer will have her concert some science will be shouted and plus the fans of the singer will have a chance to take part in the documentary. They just have to make a short video where they explain why they are fans of Natalia Oreiro and why they love her. By the way, in Omsk Natalia Oreiro will perform on November 26.

Omsk will hear the second forum of People's Front for Russia
Today in VDNH hall no. 57 the second forum of People's Front for Russia will start its work. People will discuss the questions about further living and future of Russia under European sanctions. Tatiana Horoshavina and Nicolay Kravchenko will be representatives from Omsk oblast they are both the members of regional department of People's Front for Russia. Also the plant in the name of A.S. Popov will take part in this event.
